Green tomatillo salsa is also available.
The chicken is grilled to perfection, tender and moist.
The skin is crispy and delicate and melts with every bite.
Sometimes there's a line but definitely worth the wait and effort.
The BBQ smell is wins out.

I really like this little market because it makes me feel at home I'm able to find almost everything I need when cooking and Atlantic Mexican food I really like the fact that they have a lot of choices you can pick from they also have fresh fruit that you could buy and Mexican treats also have lots of spices and herbs I like the fresh fruit and also love the fresh fruit drinks that they make my favorite is the watermelon one they also have a bakery and they sell food that's been cooked already in the kitchen area they also have other services like for cashing checks or even haven't loan office that is inside the store but that is not part of the store it's a different company but beware about that loan place because they do have a tendency of suing you if you don't pay back it happened to a cousin so if you don't know if you're going to be having reliable income I suggest you do not get a loan from that loan company just a heads up but when it comes to the store I have no complaints
Cárdenas is the best place to find what you are looking for. But they don't mess around with their prices. One some items they are priced decent but others are priced quite high. But other than that you can't go wrong with Cardenas. 😉

Cardenas markets were one of the happy discoveries I made on moving to Southern California. They’re a local, family-owned chain, and they maintain very high quality. They stock a range of fruits and vegetables beyond what you find in the big chains, including a lot of items you probably have to cross the border to get otherwise. Their meats are also very fresh, prepared onsite behind a huge butcher counter. Other standouts: their in-house taquerias, their aguas frescas bar, and their fresh-made tortillas warm from the oven. One thing—many of the staff don’t speak much English. But if you live down here, you should learn some basic Spanish!
The guys in produce are great. I can pick up cases of produce in 15 minutes. I have fun with them. Introducing me on spicy peppers.

I love Cardenas! I like to go there to buy my produce. They have more exotic fruits and everything just seems more fresh to me. They have a juice bar, where you can buy fresh fruit platters and hispanic sweets made daily. On the other side of the store they have a Cocina where you can buy hot food like tacos burritos, beans, rice, birria ramen and more. It's the perfect place to buy all your Hispanic food goods.
My favorite Cardenas since i moved out to southern Cali 10 yrs ago. Always the same. Very vibrant, happy and busy. I understand some might not know english but they do their best to help you out and make sure you're taken care of.

I actually went to the food court (had to bring my food home because of covid-19). Had some delicious tacos and the best of bestest Agua Fresca. They have great variety of aguas frescas. I had the Jamaica with Freza. Incredible!!! Pricy, but I've seen all tacos go up in price since the pandemic. I truly recommend the food court of Cardenas Markets. 👍👍💪💪

I had a wonderful experience here! They have the most amazing food for super cheap that will feed a entire family of 8 for $20!! See my pic! Everyone was friendly and the were quick. Bilingual (spanish & english) propane on the outside. Fresh flowers, Fresh cakes, beautiful produce beautifully displayed, fresh baked bread..From 8am -8pm there's a western union, money orders etc. There is a security guard the whole place is decorated like a pueblo in paintings. They rotisserie chicken right in front of you, make tacos and burritos right in front of you there is a place to eat which sits up to 80 people. You can reserve this spot for a party. In Particular I'd like to thank Abraham, Jennifer and Nadia who had AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Friendly and polite and answered all my questions. I have made this the go to spot for cheap and quick family dinners and produce shopping I can't find elsewhere!!
This store is great for grocery shopping. I am glad they opened because we needed a new, nearby store to shop at in Merced that has good food. The limes here are one of the best ones I have ever bought and the tortillas are very good. Though I recommend the yellow homemade tortillas rather than the white ones as they get hard easily.

This was my first time going there. I got the fruit salad with the sweet sauce on it. I also got the Tajin seasoning. I got the biggest one they had. It was refreshing especially on a hot day and so good.

One stop shopping. The only thing missing is a pharmacy. No worries, Rite Aid is next door! Rite Aid has closed 1/2022. If you want, shrimp cocktail from the deli go between 11am - 1pm; it usually sells out quickly.

Love the meat counter, great prices and I can get as much or as little as I want. Only problem was the butcher lady didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. But praise God I had my Spanish speaking friend with me. Prices out side of meat counter are a little high, but they have good sales.
I really enjoyed myself. I just wished that I could have more time to shop and browse but, my granddaughter hates to go shopping with me because she says I take too long. Lol. I like to take my time and see what's new. I will be returning. The only thing is why are your shopping bags cost more than all the other super market? The other stores bags are $.10 each. I know it's not much but, when you add them up, it does seem a little high especially when you're doing monthly shopping and your grocery list is long

I walked into the store today to purchase catfish! Sadly they were closing early because the store was short staffed due to high COVID-19 infections. Majority of the employees are off but this one employee touched my heart by her kindness! This young lady went above and beyond to help me. I was craving catfish and the store was closing in ten minutes. This young lady asked me to follow her and see what she could do. She went back and she helped me get the catfish! I was so humbled by her generosity and kindness. Her name is Mayerly! Mayerly displayed top notch customer service. This is the kind of service that makes one become a repeat customer. For a small town the selection is good. A few products aren't stocked like in King Soopers/ City Market that are in more populated areas but otherwise a great place to shop when it's your only option.

Great place to go for lunch and clothes, you get good portions of fresh cooked food and the clothing quality is very good for the price, you can often find good prices on clothing. There hardware area is really good also. I bought my piping for my outdoor fireplace, it was pricy but they had everything I needed to complete the job quickly which is what I like.

They are currently doing construction, but have everything widely available for purchase during the phase. The meat selection was grand. They carry all kinds of cuts including lamb, which is hard to find unless one seeks a butcher. However, those were closed and their selection was vast and clean. Most of the employees I saw were cleaning and making sure all products were beautiful for sale on the shelf. The employees are also very friendly at the register. They bagged for me as well, which was nice and I had a great experience overall. Will definitely be freezer stocking there again.

Extremely large amount of wheelchair parking available in their large parking lot. Another bonus is the credit union located within the same parking area. This location has quick access from the freeway.

On Sunday night, March 3 it was 10 degrees below zero and I wanted junk food .....I wanted the stuff that's really unhealthy but tastes great ...I wanted Mountain Dew loaded with sugar and I wanted greasy potato chips with sour cream dip so I headed to this Cub Foods and arrived 15 minutes before they closed at midnight ...... I received some of the best customer service I've ever received from grocery store employees ....The 2 employees were Chris (male) and Jennifer and I had never met either of them before. ... When I walked in there were no other customers in the store ....The employees were standing near the front entrance.... Chris told me the store was closing in 15 minutes.....His friendly tone indicated he was saying this to be helpful and not because he's in a hurry to go home..... I seldom go to this store so I asked Chris where the soda pop is and he pointed and told me the number of the aisle ......Then I needed to find the sour cream dip....It was in 2 different places in the back of the store so Chris walked back there to show me .......After I had all the junk food in my cart I went to the register where Jennifer and Chris were waiting .....Jennifer worked the register and she was really sweet ....... I'm glad I went to this store and I really enjoyed the junk food !

This is one of the best grocery stores in the twin cities. Not Cub in general, specifically the Maple Grove store. The butcher shop is top notch. Always fresh steaks, ground beef, seafood . I love to cook, they always have the exotic ingredient I am looking for .The popcorn stand, although making me fat, is amazing. I grew up in Chicago and I used to miss being able to get skirt steak, and chorizo, but they have it! Get a bag of the in house made sour cream and chive popcorn and you won't but any other kind.

Biggest. Cub. Foods. I've ever seen. These guys even have the big Jelly Belly self serve dispensers and so many flavors available it feels like a candy shop. Rest of the store is evenly stocked on most things you could really ever need. I've seen things in this cub that you'd only be able to get in department superstores. Built in restaurants, enormous deli, tons of fresh popcorn and coffee. This one is a jack of all trades, comparable to a little indoor mall. This gem was worth the 30 minute drive as I discovered it unintentionally. 100% recommend.

Never a long wait at the self check out means your in and out in no time. Parking can sometimes be a short walk but a short wait will always get you in front of the lot on those super cold days.
This place is ALWAYS busy because it is in such a prime location. However, you wouldn't know because the shelves are always well stocked and plenty of cashiers eager to ring you up. Produce is always fresh and the customer service is on point.

Wonderful place but I wish they had Apple flips... however, now that they have remodeled it, the popcorn is awesome possum. Their prime rib is such a decent price and is very tasty indeed. Their bakery is still quite wonderful...the Danish in me still takes over and I "have" to check it out when I go shopping there. Their blueberries and raspberries are fresh and I like their guacamole as well. One of the cashiers, Harley, is really a dandy lady too. I don't know her name. You could go there feeling depressed and she'll put a smile on your face. She has an awesome fun sense of humor and is really kind to her customers...even the rude customers that I've seen her deal with like her, because she's that good of a cashier. All the cashiers there though are friendly. It's a good Cub foods store indeed. : )

There's an employee that is always working in the tuna aisle every time I go here. He's always stocking an impossibly high pile of cans, and I respect his working spirit. He's a true American hero, always doing the work that needs to be done without complaining. I get groceries here every week, and I'm always as excited to see him as I would be to see an old friend.

-Produce is always good/fresh
-Good selection of fruits and vegetables
-Deli is well organized and Clean.

-Free Fruit for our toddler while shopping (Big Plus!)
The few Cons that I have:
-They don't have paper towels next to the vegetables (sometimes you need to dry them off before bagging them up)
-The hours are going from 24Hours/day to only being open: 5am-1am??? Something like that.

I stop by Cub five days per week as part of my daily lunch ritual. Cub always has what I need for my diet to maintain my weight goals. I am writing this review, however to thank your cashier "Kael" who literally puts a smile on my face, if I didn't already have one on when I arrived. His sense of humor is right out of a Princess Bride movie and he's one of a kind. He raises his occupation to a new level, making my day every time.

We don’t normally shop at this Cub, but we stopped here to pick up a ready-made birthday cake for our granddaughter. I don’t know the names of the man or lady that were working in the bakery this morning, but they were so helpful. They asked if we would like something written on the cake, and it only took them about two minutes to complete the decorating. It looked professional, and they did a great job. So thank you so much to our two bakery helpers today.

I love their popcorn! They have bags of it near the front door and the checkout area. Huge bags. Super tasty. Priced perfectly. Butter or Kettle, sometimes both. I notice not all locations have this popcorn. I make a point to come twice a week for the popcorn. The self checkout lane is never backed up either.
This is my favorite Cub in the New Brighton area. It is always well stocked and has a wonderful variety of food, not just from the US, but also has a great variety of international foods. Their most recent renovation has really made the store appearance so much better and made it much more convenient for finding what you need in a hurry. (I'm a get in and get out kind of person.) They offer a free cookie for kids while you shop and a free smash cake for your baby's first birthday. I also appreciate that they promote the good, helpful employees.

A very nice supermarket for getting grocery. Parkings are plenty, they had both self checkout and regular cashier checkout if you still prefer that. Produce are clean and fresh, good clean aisles on each section of the store and finding what I need is no problem. Very friendly and professional workers there too whether if you're just asking for help or needs assistance at the self checkout. Definitely worth a visit if you need to shop for food and condiments.

This is one of the nicest Cub Foods I've been to in a long time. It was easy to access the parking lot. It also has a connecting like Hub place for buses across the street from it, so is easy to take the bus here.
There is a liquor store, TCF Bank and pharmacy inside! They also sell stamps here. They are open 24 hours a day. The produce looked delicious along with the meats.
The employees were we're helpful and nice. The weights were not long even though there was a lot of people due to it being day before Easter and on the first weekend of the month.

Wow wow wow. I typically do my grocery shopping online and pick up from other local stores. However on a Sunday at 3:30pm I missed the deadline for same day pick up. So I ventured over to cub’s website and saw that they used Instacart and that I could get the groceries delivered within an hour. I was ecstatic that someone else would do my shopping AND deliver it right to my house.
This service is not only for the lazy but also anyone who is sick, has social anxiety or just doesn’t have time between activities. My shopper was great. She picked good replacements if Cub didn’t have the item in stock. She was prompt and quick. The whole process took less than 2 hours (from the start of my order to when they arrived at my door). I loved it and will definitely use that service again.

I was walking up to self check out and my one year old was having a fit. Being a new mom it isn't easy to make grocery store runs with a toddler most of of time. Yesterday the cashier over self check out, Shannon, was an angel. She played with my son distracting him from his normal grocery store screaming routine. She was still able to assist other customers all while keeping my son engaged. I will forever be grateful for the wonderful customer experience she gave to me and my son. This location will be my go to for all things thanks to her!

This store isn’t a very big Cub, but their Customer Service is the best. Whenever I’ve had a problem or need a rain check, they are more than accommodating, friendly, and really want to make sure their customers leave happy.

Always have loved CUB Foods! Produce and meat are always the freshest and best in town. Most items are competitively priced though not all. My most recent experience is I have a severely broken arm, and was struggling with my cart. The cashier noticed immediately and called for help with bagging and for carry out. I didn't have to ask... It was awesome that they noticed and assisted me.
Clean, stocked, got some great after Christmas wrapping paper, holiday bags, cookie sheets, measuring cups and teaspoons. I ran into a a coworker from 26 or so years ago and the cashier Pat a friend I haven't seen in 29-30 years ago and she was super great cashier helped me out with getting a cub card registered, helped with price checks on holiday items, new alot, what isles & very helpful

This is a really nice location they've got an interesting selection compared to other places especially in the twin cities where it's more bland with less selection. it's definitely catered towards white suburban people but there are some interesting finds. If you're in the area and need groceries definitely check it out

Tonight was the first night my fiance and I have been to this cub, we are staying in a hotel while in town, very good customer service employees, prices are low to about average. People are friendly, and all the fruits and vegetables look so fresh and smell amazing, bought starwberries and raspberries and they tasted amazing in our salad. 🙄

This is a clean store that is organized well. Starts with typical fresh produce and then gets into the dry food and packaged food. The prices are higher than average for nearly everything. Essential everyday is the store brand. At this visit I didn’t have the pleasure of engaging with an employee, so I’m not sure whether they are friendly or not. The parking lot was adequate and clean. There is a pharmacy and customer service department.
Great great grocery store. Place is nice and spacious, which is great for social distancing. Great selection too.

Well stocked store and easy to navigate. I go here frequently- my favorite grocery store!

In regards to the previous review, not sure why someone would sue over a lost wallet. Anyway- this location is a bit outdated, but slowly moving up with the rest of the cub foods. They always have a huge variety of foods and you can always find the things advertised on tv at Cub. They recently updated the doughnut area and the signing above the fruits and veggies is looking a lot nicer. The staff is typically friendly, not too chatty and they always say thank you & are willing to help if there is something you can't find. I have been shopping at this location for 6 years now and this is definitely my store of choice in the area. Good pricing, awesome sales, nice coupons.. can't go wrong here.

I love all Cub Foods stores in general. They have a great selection and I've never come to a point where I've had to get a particular product anywhere else because of this. I do find it interesting that every Cub I go into is laid out a little differently. I just move recently and my experience here was no different. What might be helpful would be for every Cup location to have an aisle map that customers could take to help them locate the items they need when they're making out there shopping list. It would greatly enhance the experience and shorten the amount of time spent hunting down items if you're new to the store. Other than that I enjoyed the experience and the helpfulness of the personnel

This store is extraordinary. We've tried online groceries and it had worked out pretty well. Orders are accurate and no delays. Solves a big hassle for us that we had with instacart.
And the staffs, particularly in the night shifts are very helpful and awesome.

Always great prices on the "fresh" fish. I only use quotations because, I know it has to travel a bit before getting to Minnesota. Although, it never lacks in flavor, tenderness or, cooking quality!! Sad to see the self serve section leave with all the nuts, grains and, candies. Not their fault though. Covid19 ruined a lot!!
The service at the liquor store is 15/10. I arrived at precisely 9:58 and was welcomed warmly, calmly. Proceeded to the cold case cooler- another plus for this store; although, don’t you always kinda feel like you’re in the restricted section when you go in there? Exactly one minute later, the staff runs towards me, scanner in hand, shouting at the top of his lungs ONE MINUTE WARNING. His hair flies over his shoulder and his face mask is whipping in his own wind. They basically lift me and my case of Coors and White Claw as if they are Aladdin with an invisible helper magical carpet to the register and cheer me on to checkout in time before their register times out at 10. I fumbled with Apple Pay, they encouraged, I completed the transaction and it was as if a hush fell over an already silent almost closed liquor store. We did it. They cheered, I cried. We would have hugged if there wasn’t a horrible unforgiving pandemic plaguing our existence. 15/10 recommend, but I would advise showing up at least 20 minutes before close because these guys deserve at least that much of a break.

This place was recently renovated and the new mini stores in Cub are just amazing. The juicery and pop corn shops, 😋😋. Give the freshly squeezed apple juice a try. You'd never want any other.
The fresh groceries and more organic choices just makes this place a no brainer. I think Cub just made me a customer.

Cub food is a great grocery store to buy food from and the staff are awesome,very helpful and I love shopping there,reasonable food prices.
