Smith's can be expensive, but they usually do a good job of getting quality items on sale. The produce is of decent quality. They are owned by Kroger and have many quality store made breads, pastas, ice cream etc. that can compete with Walmart, Albertsons, and IGA amongst other grocer's in the local area.
Its a great place to shop. I go there at least twice a week, mainly because it's close to home. However, I frequently spend less at Smith's than at Albertsons for the same goods.
