The Castro Safeway. Great store. Legendary. Too bad all the personal hygiene items are locked in a cabinet. I saw these 2 dudes pull a beer run the other night, taking a 12 pack of Corona. Hope they come back and spend some money. But yes Safeway has changed. COVID-19 changed everything. The store is still cool with great staff. I wish more people would frequent this iconic store.
Never a dull moment and the staff rocks.
It has become a much more quiet and orderly store since changing the hours and rearranging certain product locations. Added ODO/security presence has also greatly reduced tense interactions in and around the store.
The store continues to remain calm, improve, and maintain its more orderly atmosphere. :)
