We switched from Walgreens to Rite Aid as our regular pharmacy a little over a year ago. While I wouldn't normally think to review a drug store, our experience warranted a review. We regularly picked up prescriptions at Walgreens for 15+ years. It was always slow (perhaps short-staffed?), the pharmacist was curt and seemed like she never recognized us. Since we switched to Rite Aid, we have been amazed with the difference! We didn't know what we were missing.After a few months of regularly picking up my family's prescriptions, most of the pharmacists recognize us on sight, greet us when they see us and are always helpful and answer whatever questions we might have.
At Walgreens, we regularly had to wait 20-40 minutes for prescriptions and if we wanted a consultation about new medications, we usually had to wait an additional 20-40 minutes. Sometimes we need to wait at rite aid as well, but if we need a consultation, the pharmacist usually just talks to us right then. We have been so pleased with our experience!
