I like Harris Teeter. Their stores always provide a welcoming environment. This one was no different. The store was clean, well lite and family friendly feeling. This particular time I ran into Harris Teeter at the last minute for my mom. She wanted me to stop and get pie crust on my way in from Virginia Beach. This store is the closest grocery store to her house. I searched every spot I could think of for pie crust and didn't find any. So, I asked for assistance thinking maybe I wasn't looking in the right location. Two team members helped me look but to no avail they were completely out of ready made pie crust. So, I improvised. I bought two boxes of Pillsbury pie crusts and disposable aluminum pie pans. The cashier had a great smile and used the store card so I could get the sale price for the pie crust. Yes, the sweet potato pies were delicious! And, YES! I would return to and tell others to shop this store.
