Huge grocery store with all the supplies we needed on our trip through Fairbanks.
Always easy to find stuff that I need in a timely manner and I never have to wait in line for the self check-out, which I prefer. The staff are very helpful and responsive to whatever you may need. I constantly get coupons in the mail from Fred's for things like free bags of cheese, really good discounts on meat and seafood, and even great coupons for dog treats and food. This has always been my grocery store of choice and it definitely won't be changing any time soon. If you want a place you can shop, talk to really nice people, and just generally have an easy grocery run, just come to the Fred Meyer's on Airport!
