Great selection of items and always have great deals! I recommend avoiding shopping between 4:30-5:30 dinner rush, all lines are open but it still takes a while to check out. The also have a great rewards program if you spend $500 in 3 months there you get a cash back rebate and every $100 saves you $.10 on gas at their fuel center or select shell stations!!
This Fred Meyer has all of the departments. You can pretty much make a one stop shop if you want to get everything in one place. They have great sales, if you're willing to wait for seasonal items to get marked down. I've seen 70%, marked down with 30% off of that price! The staff is friendly, and the prices are mostly pretty good. This store is (IMO) way better than the chaos of Walmart! They are currently putting in a Starbucks kiosk, so now you will be able to get a great cup of coffee also, what else could you ask for.
