The MOD on staff was explaining to an elderly customer that they do not take debit/credit cards to pay for pre-paid cards. Who ever he was trying to purchase the ebay cards for kept giving him a hard time on the phone. She asked if she could possibly speak with the person. The person on the phone said fine. She tried to explain it to them directly that Dollar General no longer allows people to pay for prepaid cards with debit or credit. She handed the phone back to the customer. Whoever was on the other end continued to insist upon the eBay cards from the customer. So the MOD and the customer stepped a side, so other customers could make their purchases. The MOD was trying to explain to the customer that this was a chance of somebody trying to scam him.
