I love their selection of toys. They have so many fun and interesting things that you can get for a dollar or two. They even have cap guns; I didn't even know these were being made anymore. I also found Hungry Hungry Hippos and a few other nifty things.
It's always enjoyable going to Dollar General and seeing what you can find. Of course, they also have plenty of the essentials: food, housewares, toiletries, etc...
I can't recommend Dollar General enough. It gets the job done if you are looking for cheap essentials or other interesting items.
