Great staff and decent selection! Customer service has been phenomenal thus far. Staff go above and beyond to ensure the customer’s satisfaction. I’ve yet to leave this store with anything but a smile on my face 😁 ( which is an unexpected reaction for me to get from a tedious errand such as shopping) I don’t have to dread shopping trips here as I do when visiting neighboring “super centers” and “fresh markets” I am a bargain shopper and can’t always get every single item I need at the best rate at DG but I prefer the store experience here enough to make certain concessions. It reduces the amount of time I have to endure the woes of shopping at Walmart. I’ll gladly pay a few cents more (oftentimes a few cents less) for the convenience of not having to step foot in that dehumanized cesspool ran by robots. I appreciate that tremendously!
The reviews I read for the Creston area did not do them justice. Leave it to me to forget plates and utensils on my daughters third birthday at Green Valley State park and have to run quickly into town. I rushed in to Dollar General to pick only the things I could hold in my hands and once in line about to topple over, I remembered drinks...ahhh ran back grabbed them waited patiently in a short line and was greeted by the best cashier to date. Her genuine smile and thoughtful questions showed she cared not only about where she worked but her community too. As she would lead me to the most awesome park later. Sometimes it's all you need one brief happy encounter to set up for a fantastic day! Thank you again for the wonderful customer service!
