The store is newly renovated with the aisles turned the opposite direction and reorganized, which makes the layout the same as other DG stores. They seem to have more shelf and display space. This manager has been here a while and so far doing a good job. She's a very hard worker and the staff seems to like her, which hasn't been true in the past. Guess we'll see about clutter in the aisles now. Great prices still.
No matter where you typically shop, you owe it to yourself to stop in at Dollar General every so often whether you think you need to or not. For cleaning supplies, party supplies, snacks, and more, you will definitely save more than just a few dollars on each visit. I used to think of them as just low quality, cheap items, but given the choice, why pay more for disposable items!? They either have the same brands for less, or, very comparable for even greater savings. It's not for every product you need, but don't overlook them. Chances are there is one location right on the way to your favorite store. Don't knock it till you try it.
