I think it’s important to understand before you write a review to understand a few simple things.
First: Are you writing it to vent? Or to genuinely improve the function of the store?
Second: Are you angry and think being a keyboard warrior will make you feel better?
And Third: that your interaction with someone is not everyone else’s experience with that person. You are 1% of people.
The most important point is that people who work in customer service, grocery, retail, etc. put up with a lot of people every day. Thousands of people who feel it’s ok to talk down to, berate, belittle and show any lack of patience or empathy whatsoever. The people at this store are genuine, hardworking, kind, smart and friendly. It takes a strong sense of self control to not yell back, to not scream back at customers, call them names and want to cry (and I bet you they do) when customers treat them poorly. Especially when most things are not any fault of their own.
That being said, check yourself before you act like you aren’t part of the problem as well. There is always more than one side to the story. So before you tell someone they’re a narcissist without having a degree to properly diagnose someone, before you write a review, before you don’t practice some self control and act immature, think about the damage you are inflicting on someone who works hard, who just wants to feel as if they’re doing a good job. Spread kindness, tell them they’re doing a great job. Chances are if you’re being negative, you never said a kind word to them ever.
I absolutely love the people who work at this store. Be kind to them. They’re like family to me.
