As grocery shopping is not my favorite thing to do, if i am forced by need to survive, Safeway is pretty much a one stop shopping. Clean, friendly and sometimes enthusiastic staff. Check out moves quickly and staff always offers to help me out to my car. So for a non fav chore I give Safeway 5 stars (plus last minute impulse was Chinese deli dinner ). I find grocery shopping in Washington pricey BUT at least you get a clean, friendly atmosphere.
Customer service was great, cashier cleaned register an area after every customer. Store was clean. No long waiting in line.
